Profile: Full Time Accounts Assistant

Location: Cheltenham. Salary £17000-22000 per annum.

Work experience required: Minimum of 3 years Accounts experience.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with previous general accounts experience and preferably AAT qualified for a full time role. This is a progressive opportunity for an expanding company!

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the purchase and sales ledger, providing assistance to the Finance Director with Accounts work and assist the management team with contractual administration and other administrative tasks.

The Accounts Assistant will be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative; but nonetheless be a team player with good communication and PC skills. Sage line 50 and or pegasus software knowledge also desirable.

The successful SQL Server DBA will be required to join the internal IT team in providing database support - building queries and reports, adhoc analysis, performance monitoring, performance tuning, administration, support, installation of technical upgrades, design and development of new requirements.

It is essential that you have the following skills: 18 months + experience in a similar role; database design and development skills; designing ETL; data auditing; system testing; performance monitoring and tuning; design and production of reports - SSRS; database administration and support.
